202

Alexander Valley

Zinfandel | $32 $26

Our third release is a soulful and expressive medium-bodied red wine with floral notes and concentrated fruit flavors.

Tasting Notes
Floral aromas of violets and roses paired with decadent notes of cranberries, pomegranate, blueberries, and blackcurrant. With medium acidity and low tannins, this wine has a delicate mouthfeel that grows more expressive with every sip. Pairs well with baked brie with hot honey, rosemary-crusted pork loin, and bacon-wrapped figs.
Vineyard Notes
Grapes selected for their quality and ripeness were hand-picked from the Braccialini family vineyard in Alexander Valley, Sonoma County. Crop thinning was practiced to slow down the ripening process resulting in dense bunches and concentrated flavors. During the day, Alexander Valley is one of the warmest areas in Northern California. But at night, the temperature drops significantly, offering cooler weather conditions. The nearby Russian River transports early morning fog that can cover the area until it is burned off by the morning sun. The combination of warm climate, cooling influences, and alluvial gravel soil yields rich and textural wines.
Winemaking Notes
The winemaking process started by cold-soaking the grapes for four days to extract and preserve fruit flavors. Primary fermentation lasted around 10 days. The wine was pressed, settled overnight, and racked into neutral oak barrels. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. Only 24 cases were produced.
Service Instructions
Ready to drink now. Serve at room temperature.

2019

Alexander Valley

Cabernet Franc | $36 $29

Our second release is a playful yet dynamic medium-bodied red wine. Think wild strawberries, apple orchards, and old books.

Tasting Notes
Reminiscent of early spring with aromas of strawberries, red apples, and pomegranate. Playfully light and bright on your palate upon the first sip with complex notes of baking spices and wet earth developing through the finish. A wine that can be dressed up or down, consider pairing with minted lamb, grilled vegetables, and fruit crumble.

Winemaking Notes
The 2019 Cab Franc was picked on September 26th and was crushed and de-stemmed before cold soaking for 3 days. Primary fermentation lasted about 7 days before it was pressed off the skins into a tank to settle overnight before being racked into a neutral French oak barrel. The wine aged for 22 months and was finished in new French oak before bottling in August 2021. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. Only 24 cases were produced.
Service Instructions
This wine is ready to be enjoyed immediately or can be cellared for another 5-10 years. While decanting is not necessary, the wine will open up more ~15 minutes after pouring. Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled.

2018

Alexander Valley

Cabernet Sauvignon | $45 $36

Our premier vintage is a refined full-bodied red wine that shows balance, restraint, and bright fruit-forward flavors.

Tasting Notes
Ripe black fruit aromas of fresh plum and blackberries. Velvety tannins paired with fresh acidity brighten and refresh your palate. Subtle flavors of cocoa nibs and graphite add length to the finish and a touch of decadence. A delicate yet complex wine that plays well with rich and earthy foods, perfect for the holiday season.

Ready to drink now but can be cellared for another decade or more. Decant for 30 minutes or uncork and let the bottle sit for 60 minutes before drinking. Serve at room temperature.

Welcome to the Family

Panoramic Wines was established in 2018 by father and son team Scott (left) and Corey Braccialini (center). Scott was raised in a third-generation family-owned and managed vineyard in Alexander Valley and had a lifelong dream of making wine.

Corey also grew up on and around the family vineyard. He fell in love with wine while backpacking throughout Europe before receiving a master's degree in marketing at Trinity College Dublin. Corey has enjoyed continuing his education with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and has completed the Level 3 Award in Wines.

Our family's history extends to Pistoia, Italy in Tuscany where our ancestors farmed vineyards, too. Emigrating in 1904, our family established roots in California, ultimately purchasing land in Sonoma County in 1925 and planting vines. Passed downed generation to generation, Braccialini Vineyard continues to be family owned led by Dan Braccialini (right).

Panoramic Wines is the newest branch of our ancestral tree. Thank you for choosing to support our small family business.
